Wow! Where did 4 years go? We saw some tremendous things happen at CFB. The teens learned how to work for the Lord and then have fun. Too many times churches become sidetracked with doctrine of Balaam and use the Lords work for their own personal gain. America has been seduced by the concept of “fun” without having to work. This “nanny state” mentality has destroyed our churches first and now is destroying our country. CFB had a core of teens that knew how to be faithful to the services and in turn they developed the ability to work for the Lord. It was rewarding to see young people who had reaching the lost as their top priority. This group of teens was the ones that cleaned the flower beds, cleaned the cemetery, washed cars, went visiting the lost, and enjoyed the support of the youth expense account. They were responsible for bring many souls to the Lord and I am proud of their leadership. There are many pictures that I will post on the slide shows as I find the time.
Two of the years at CFB the teens were allowed to be a major part of VBS. Each of these years strengthened the teens as they saw the Lord using them to minister to others instead of having others minister to them. Because of circumstances with our pastor’s sickness, VBS was given totally to me in the month of March. No one had attended the Life-way VBS presentation in February so we were behind on scheduling and organization. I took the popular movie aspect TRON and changed a few things and turned it into JOHN. Other than teaching a class, the CFB teens did everything else…and it was awesome. The following are a few clips of VBS and the format I have used for several years. I will add more video as time allows.
